Position Description
Were looking for a part-time Space Solutions Architect to with knowledge of integration operations and optimization of advanced military and commercial satellite communications systems. This role will serve the current and future of Space SATCOM Serco programs working directly with Serco employees international partners and key defense stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions. This position can be 100% telework.
In this role you will:
- Architect and implement solutions for number of space satellite communications systems (eg WGS DSCS GBS).
- Provide technical expertise in SATCOM integration operations and anomaly resolution.
- Interface with US government and international agencies to ensure mission success.
- Provide expertise in system testing certification and operational cutover for new capabilities.
- Help evaluate standards procedures and technical documentation to optimize performance.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 20 years of experience in DoD SATCOM systems (wideband payload and platform control).
- Expertise in WSOMS RSSC operations and SATCOM certification programs.
- Proven track record leading integration efforts across multiple agencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex space and ground control environments.
- High School Dipolma
- Active Top Secret clearance.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Experience US Army SMDC USAF Space Operations USSF.
- Hands-on experience with number of WSOMS ground subsystems.
- Solicitation evaluation and proposal development.
- SATCOM terminal operations.
