Our clients are well-known in the automotive parts industry.
Responsibilities
- Providing qualified feedback about yields.
- Providing qualified commitment about warehouse virgin yield at OE article which concerns uniformity topics.
- Providing qualified recommendations to optimize yield to meet desired virgin yield targets.
- Implementing recommendations to achieve desired virgin yield targets (TU TG TB).
- Being a part of the RN acceptance/Evaluation of the ETO or ISD before the 3-4-1 release process in the plant or taking part in the 341 (round table) meeting. (Ensure that new articles introduced into the plant are meeting targeted warehouse yield at SOP (OE warehouse yield for OE and Tire Uniformity for all articles taking part in ISD approval phase).
- Driving continuous improvement activities to maintain/improve TU/ TG/ TB yield targets.
- Steering OE and Replacement yield improvement activities.
- Handling TU OE Customer Special Requirement Fulfill TU Weak Points Improvement according to CSR Customer Audit (With OE Quality).
- Performing thorough statistical analysis interpreting data optimising and coordinating the process via the application of standard work procedures for yield management with a primary focus on OE TU virgin yield.
- Coordinating the Uniformity Team to work together with Quality Process and Product Teams and Process Engineering.
- Being a part of approval of changes to existing Technology Materials Equipment and Processes scheduling by providing input to impact on Yield performance.
- Performing root cause analysis to remedy causes for low-performing yield.
- Initiating trials in the plant required to achieve TU virgin yield targets.
- Handling the compilation of know-how yield optimization.
- Analyzing implementing and tracking corrective/preventive actions concerning Yield improvement.
- Ensuring that the know-how is shared between the plants.
- Ensuring progressive reduction in Plant Scrap 7 KPI.
- Driving early warning system to manage for Scrap 7 at article level.
- Creating Quality Reports and Information sharing with the Supplier Chain (OP).
- Ensuring implementation of measures and maintaining controls.
- Raising awareness and providing information about ESH responsibilities and duties.
- Ensuring immediate notification and response and initiating preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards.
- Demonstrating exemplary personal behaviour in ESH and motivating others.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering field or related fields.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Tire manufacturing or related business.
- Knows of TU Vector Separation Knowledge of tyre non-conformity root causes.
- Knows processes and tools (QDA FFDACS MCAT WAMOS Grading PoMS off standard catalogue).
- Knows Quality management and structural problem-solving tools knowledge (8D 4S FMEA 5WHY Fish Bone).
- Able to manage a diverse team.
- Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross-cultural environment.
- Good in English and ability to communicate in multi-national environments.
