We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing implementing and maintaining Oracle database solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of database architecture data modeling and Oracle PL/SQL programming.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement efficient and scalable Oracle database solutions
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code
- Perform database tuning and performance optimization
- Create and maintain database objects such as tables views indexes and sequences
- Develop and maintain stored procedures functions triggers and packages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform unit testing and troubleshooting of database applications
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Oracle database environment
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with Oracle database technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies including PL/SQL SQL and Oracle database administration
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Oracle certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Associate Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
Additional Skills (Optional):
- Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports
- Knowledge of Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other ETL tools
- Understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies
- Proficiency in other programming languages such as Java Python or C#
