About the Team & Business Line
The Citco Experience Design group launched in 2024 to deliver strategic capabilities to a range of enterprise initiatives. The mission of this group is to deliver value through Design practice to arenas such as CX Digital Transformation process and organizational design and product design.
CXD will champion and resource Design practice to deliver sustainable competitive advantage to Citco
The Design group is expanding globally with an ever-increasing scope of activities and projects. The Senior UX Researcher role is the first specialist role in the group an opportunity to complement and expand practices and skills. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new function which delivers impact through Design Thinking: UX research co-creation service blueprints UX strategy and detailed design.
The Senior UX Researcher role includes research design qualitative and quantitative research synthesis and UX strategy development concept and usability testing. The insights developed will support UX/UI Designers in creating impactful products and interactions grounded in human-centered design.
The position is based in Ireland and may require some international travel to other Citco locations. This position reports to Head of Design in Dublin and the successful candidate will interact with business stakeholders and other technical groups.
Responsibilities
Your Role
- design and deliver research activities to explore opportunities in a complex B2B environment
- develop service blueprints and user journey maps to surface and define transformation opportunities
- develop the centralized Research Hub as an enterprise asset across divisions and disciplines
- collaborate with stakeholders to absorb and shape Citcos enterprise UX strategy including Product Management CX engineering and Marketing
- advocate for usability design and innovation within the organization
- mentor and guide Designers and other participants in research practice
Qualifications
About You
- you are passionate about the potential for impact of Design practice dynamic and results-oriented
- experienced in user research and design research methodology with a thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative research concepts including usability testing
- practiced in the synthesis of research and the impactful presentation of findings
- portfolio of previous work must be presented including research methodology development
- Bachelors degree in Design HCI Cognitive Psychology or equivalent related education
- Experience
- 5 years of experience in a UX Research role
- experience with usability testing frameworks tools and metrics frameworks
- experience in usage of design systems to drive coherent design practices
- beneficial: co-creation facilitation financial systems experience
