The Electric Machine Mechanical Engineer will be tasked with the full life cycle from design to industrialisation of our high speed electric machines
for our electric boosting product lines that push the state of the art in mech. compactness reliability and cost design.
Your responsibility will include ownership of 3D and 2D drawings for stators rotors fixtures and assemblies developments and qualification from concept to serial introduction. You will work closely with our simulation and electromagnetic experts product line integration engineers and our advanced manufacturing experts to drive new product development.
OSupport and execution of virtual builds package bucks prototypes and pre-series production.
OSupport and take initiatives on DFMEA PFMEA and fit for quality;
Osupport on supplier tech. management;
oIn coordination with Product line integration and Supplier quality engineer mature the electric machine design until serial introduction (Drawings DFMEA functional and durability testing product specification quality inspection )
REQUIRED BACKGROUND
PhD in electrical or mech. engineering or Masters with relevant experience4 years experience
Solid knowledge of EM mech. Design and manufacturing process GD&T analysis familiar with DFMEA and PFMEA.
outstanding design packaging and 3D modelling skills using CATIA.
Work experience developing products in the EPWT specifically hairpin design and insulation respect highly preferred
