Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as aCentral Fill Inventory Technician for our Centralized HUB location. The Central Fill Inventory Technician will be responsible for managing the medication inventory inside the central fill automation room as well as coordinating inventory between the retail locations. The ideal candidate is excited to be a part of something new and brings with them previous inventory experience strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while supporting the pharmacy team.

8.5-hour shifts
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Order receive and sort medications and supplies under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide inventory support services for HUB pharmacy team to ensure adequate pharmacy stock is available. Calibrate and refill Parata cells to ensure continuous workflow of the Parata machines and ExpressRX Track. Work closely with all team members in the HUB Automation Room to support pharmaceutical care activities complete pharmacy invoicing and billing optimization record keeping reporting and arrange appropriate medication delivery. Balance inventory between HUB central location and multiple pharmacy locations in alignment with 340B compliance. Complete traditional pharmacy technician roles and responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 years of age required.
Ability to attend and successfully complete 160 hours of on the job training required.
High school education or equivalent required.
Prior pharmacy operations experience required.
Experience with inventory oversight across multiple locations required.
Experience with high volume inventory programs/systems required.
Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand held calculator required.
Analytical skills necessary to apply expertise to problems and/or increase operational efficiency within systems required.
Understanding of 340B regulations and pharmacy compliance required.
Exceptional communication skills strong attention to detail and effective problem solving skills required.
Licensed Nebraska pharmacy intern or registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy required.
Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year pharmacy technician experience with Nebraska Medicine Outpatient Pharmacy preferred.
Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
Work experience which demonstrates analytical ability judgment and interpersonal skills in pharmacy or healthcare preferred.
Proficiency and experience with ordering through multiple pharmacy and supply vendors (i.e. Cardinal Mckesson Lawson processes) preferred.
Proficiency with Parata machines and cell calibration/refilling preferred.
Experience and proficiency with computer software applications (Word Excel Outlook) or comparable program preferred.
Prior 340B certification/training preferred.
Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate preferred.
Prior experience with Supplylogix and/or training preferred.
