Practice Accountant / Client Manager - Leading Manchester Accountancy Practice
Salary: 40000 - 52000 Benefits
Location: Manchester City Centre
Are you an experienced Practice Accountant ready to take on a senior client management role Were working with a well-established accountancy practice in Manchester City Centre seeking a Practice Accountant / Client Manager to join their senior team.
What youll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of key clients and building long-term relationships
- Overseeing accounts preparation and year-end processes under FRS 102 & FRS 105
- Leading complex client engagements from start to finish
- Handling advanced tax queries and liaising with HMRC
- Business development and identifying growth opportunities with existing clients
- Mentoring and supervising junior team members
- Quality control and technical review of client work
What were looking for:
- 4-5 years UK accountancy practice experience (essential)
- Nearly qualified or qualified ACCA (preferred)
- Strong technical expertise in FRS 102 & FRS 105
- Proven experience in client management and relationship building
- Confident handling complex tax queries and compliance matters
- Experience managing varied client portfolios across different sectors
- Strong leadership and team development skills
