As a Qualified Practice Accountant you will be an integral part of the Accounts & Business Advisory Department in the South-East this role you will support a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various industries. Your responsibilities will include delivering accounting engagements maintaining client relationships managing deadlines and providing valuable support to the team. Additionally you will have the opportunity to lead mentor and coach junior staff members.

To succeed in this position you must possess an accountancy qualification such as ACA ACCA or CPA along with prior experience in an accountancy practice. Ongoing mentoring and coaching will be provided to ensure your continued professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Guide and mentor trainees and junior staff
Manage client relationships ensuring adherence to deadlines and efficient workflow
Prepare and review Financial Statements for sole traders and companies in compliance with relevant accounting standards and Companies Acts
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of relevant tax regulations including VAT Payroll RCT and income taxes
Cultivate key relationships with external stakeholders such as clients revenue authorities and internal departments (tax company secretarial corporate recovery)
Identify potential business opportunities and actively contribute to business development initiatives
