Job Summary

Base Salary: $103641 - $116596 plus 17% superannuation

Position: Full time fixed term until 30 June 2027

The Opportunity

Based at the University of Newcastle the TRaCE Partnerships Coordinator will support the delivery of strategic engagement activities and partnership initiatives. Youll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate events manage communications and contribute to the success of collaborative projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating TRaCE program activities and stakeholder engagements.
  • Supporting project planning scheduling and reporting.
  • Developing high-quality written and visual content for events and communications.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with industry government and academic partners.
  • Providing administrative support including meeting coordination processing applications and documentation.

This fixed-term position is full-time and will be located at the Newcastle Institute of Energy and Resources (NIER) (Awabakal and Worimi land).

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A degree with relevant experience in communications engagement event or project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written verbal and visual communication abilities.
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to professional standards.
  • Experience in science technology research or higher education (highly desirable).
