About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking aLead Software Engineerwith deep expertise inPegato join ourClaims Technologyteam within theTechnology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO). This group delivers cutting-edge technology solutions that support operations strategic execution business continuity regulatory compliance and customer experience across the enterprise.
In this role youll be at the forefront of building secure scalable and intelligent systems that protect our customers from fraud and disputes while maintaining a seamless user experience. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver enterprise-grade Pega applications that directly impact the trust and safety of our financial ecosystem.
What Youll Do:
Lead developmentof complex large-scale applications using Pega driving architecture and design decisions.
Writeclean efficient and well-tested codethat integrates seamlessly with platform releases.
Collaborate in anAgile environmentwith architects developers and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.
Championbest practicesin software development deployment and system architecture.
Conductcode reviewsand contribute to automated testing to ensure engineering excellence.
Design and maintainsystem integrationsincluding APIs file transfers and SQL queries.
Drivecontinuous improvement challenging the status quo to enhance performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
5 years of hands-on experience withPega development
3 years Software Development experience in an Agile environment
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree inComputer ScienceEngineering or related field
Pega CSSA Certification(Senior System Architect)
Strong expertise inPega Case Management integration rules application security and layering concepts
Experience inFraudDispute orCase Managementdomains
Prior experience with Wells Fargo systems

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
