Job Summary

Starting hourly: $20.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Performance Coach is responsiblefor establishing and maintaining a high-levelfitness performance program for all members and individualswith the major goals of maximizing sport performance reducing athletic injuries guiding individuals safelytowards their fitness goals create accountability and teach positive lifestyle habits. The Lead Performance Coach designs training plansaccording to scientific principles supervises training sessions evaluates members and teaches fitness classes. Additionally they manage membership and marketing activities as needed. The Lead Performance Coach is responsible for maintaining the fitness performance facility and for establishing company policies plans and procedures for the safe and professional operation of the facility.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Assist in leading and managing the fitness program at the clinic.
  • Trains group and individualized classes focused on athlete physical development and performance goal.
  • Ensures all training meets TPG standards in quality results professionalism and execution. This includes tracking progress of members.
  • Maintain an average retention rate for the facilitys program.
  • Maintain a conversion rate of PT referrals to member sales.
  • Maintain a regular coaching schedule which can vary however the expectation would be that there is a follow up cadence.
  • Manage the memberships of the program; including the finances dues and marketing associated with it.
  • Assist in customer service activities; promote a level of sales in the facility and drive new client conversions. This includes phone work and in facility tours/conversations.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to design and implement appropriate strength and conditioning programs for various members with an emphasis on teaching proper strength and conditioning techniques to members and athletes of all ages.
  • Excellent knowledge of strength and conditioning needs as well as appropriate techniques to prevent injury.
  • Ability to analyze movement make corrections and communicate effectively.
  • Thorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to provide strong leadership and process and procedure creation.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize various demands.
  • Strong presentation communication skills.
  • Action oriented and driven for results.
  • A self-starter and to work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a well thought-out easily understood manner both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles;
  • Ability to delegate and communicate in an honest direct and professional manner relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships.
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.

Management: Manage scheduling for all active members

Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in related field required and a minimum of 3 years experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged standing bending and stretching. Ability to demonstrate the appropriate skills and techniques to be used by athletes. Ability to visually monitor athletes. Sitting standing lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds) reaching sprinting jumping hopping bounding hip-hinging squatting climbing stairs kneeling and moving equipment/boxes up to 50 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard mouse photocopier telephone calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record prepare and present reports. Some hours and occasions weekend work required.
