About the Role

As part of our Growth & Strategy Team you will lead the way in securing major water/wastewater infrastructure projects worth up to $150 million across Australia and New Zealand. As a seasoned Senior Estimator based out of our Auckland office you can leverage your expertise to ensure that estimates are accurately and competitively prepared and delivered with a clear understanding of strategies methodologies and risk profiles. Reporting into the Lead Estimator you will collaborate closely with some of the industrys top professionals to build strong working relationships within the business. Further insight into the role and duties are:

Lead the estimation preparation for the workstream
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective delivery of tender submissions and operational estimation activities across all tenders
Review and analysis of RFT packages and subcontractor quotations
Negotiate and influence business solutions related to costing budgeting and contractual requirements
Prepare project bid status reports provide/ implement tender solutions and ensure contract specifications and documentation compliance
Utilise historical market and industry data to generate pricing estimates and track actual costs during the project lifecycle for accuracy comparison

About You

A Trade or Engineering qualification is desirable
Substantial experience as an Estimator in water/wastewater infrastructure construction projects
High proficiency with MS Suite is necessary; exposure to Candy or Expert Estimator is an advantage
Provide sound qualified decision-making to the estimating process following process and protocols
Driven by a focus on results and excellence with a high degree of autonomy and a sense of urgency
Ability to evaluate identify scope anomalies/complexities through simple and complex drawings
