JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

JOB DETAILS:
- As the Operations Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety regulations across all restaurant locations.
- You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff coordinating with different departments and implementing strategies to enhance productivity while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines at all restaurant locations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Implement measures to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
Team Management:
- Lead and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations provide feedback and address any performance issues.
- Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
Resource Planning and Allocation:
- Plan and allocate resources effectively including manpower materials and equipment to meet production demands across the restaurant chain.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely raw materials and supplies availability.
- Optimize resource utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process at all restaurant locations.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Take corrective actions as necessary to address quality issues and prevent reoccurrence. Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all production staff at all restaurant locations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to production operations.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety among employees.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements across the restaurant chain.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance production performance.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree HND or OND
- Minimum of three years of experience in an operations management role preferably in the food industry or restaurant chain operations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of production planning scheduling and inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
