As the General Manager Electrical Engineering - Cement Plant you will play a key role in overseeing electrical engineering functions at the cement plant and driving efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for electrical engineering operations at the cement plant to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Oversee the installation operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment at the cement plant.
- Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production maintenance and safety to ensure seamless operations across the cement plant.
- Develop and manage the budget for the electrical engineering department and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of electrical engineering activities at the cement plant.
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of electrical engineering services.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 27 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in the cement industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing plant.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and executing electrical engineering strategies to achieve operational goals.
- Sound knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
