Our groundkeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the safety functionality and appearance of HOA-managed common areas. This includes basic repairs routine upkeep and general maintenance throughout the community such as the clubhouse fitness center pool area walking trails and shared infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform light repairs and maintenance on buildings fences gates signage and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of all community amenities including playgrounds dog parks walking trails and the clubhouse.
Complete minor plumbing and electrical work such as fixing leaks replacing outlets or unclogging drains.
Perform painting drywall patching and general upkeep in shared spaces.
Assist with pool area maintenance (furniture repairs safety checks etc.).
Assemble furniture or equipment for community events or amenity spaces.
Monitor for and report safety hazards damage or vandalism.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
Coordinate with vendors or contractors when outside services are needed.
Support seasonal tasks (pressure washing storm prep dcor installation etc.).
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from HOA staff or Board.
Qualifications:
Experience in general maintenance repairs or construction.
Strong working knowledge of basic electrical plumbing and carpentry.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work both indoors and outdoors.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Familiarity with HOA or community settings preferred.
Work Schedule:
Part-time or full-time depending on community needs. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required for emergency repairs or community events.
