This position has been created as part of the recently implemented KU Childrens Services Teachers Enterprise Agreement 2025 a landmark development that continues to set new standards within the early childhood education sector. This new agreement reflects KUs ongoing commitment to excellence in educator conditions and professional practice. Key enhancements include increased dedicated time for Educational Leaders and programming additional child-free days and up to 15 weeks of paid parental leave further strengthening KUs comprehensive suite of employee benefits and supports.

The Hours and Service:

KU Yagoona Preschool operates Monday - Friday 8am-3:30pm during school terms. Offering education and care for 20 children a day. Our playground is designed to maximise the use of the natural environment and allow children to play and explore as they would in their own backyard.

At KU Yagoona we focus on STEM Spotlight on Science (Science technology engineering and math). Young children are avid STEM investigators eager to explore and invent. STEM learning gives a label to what we are already doing in our program encouraging children to observe ask questions and integrate their ideas.

This opportunity will see you join the team 7.6 hours every Tuesday.
