FACILITIES COORDINATORJob Title: Facilities Coordinator -Reports To: VP of OperationsDepartment: OperationsFSLA: ExemptCompensation: $58955-$66323 SalarySummary:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented On-Site Facilities Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe efficient and well-maintained working environment that supports the mission and culture of Overture.
This role is 100% on-site at our headquarters in Waukegan ILDuties and Responsibilities:- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Perform minor repairs for plumbing electrical and mechanical issues as needed.
- Maintain the vehicle fleet (currently one box truck) including regular maintenance repairs and cleaning.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs for all equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks pickers ladders etc.).
- Contact and coordinate with vendors contractors and service providers (e.g. landscaping plumbing electrical) via phone and email.
- Solicit and gather bids for facility-related projects; share costs and contracts with management for approval.
- Communicate vendor scheduling with staff to minimize disruption to daily operations.
- Collaborate with the management team to meet all facilities-related needs and requirements.
- Ensure all safety and emergency equipment is properly maintained and regularly tested.
- Lead and manage facility-related projects including renovations relocations and new construction.
- Coordinate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Skills and Competencies:- Proven experience (typically 5 years) in facilities management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational problem-solving and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
