Job Description

FACILITIES COORDINATOR

Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Reports To: VP of Operations
Department: Operations
FSLA: Exempt
Compensation: $58955-$66323 Salary

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe efficient and well-maintained working environment that supports the mission and culture of Overture.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform minor repairs for plumbing electrical and mechanical issues as needed.
  • Maintain the vehicle fleet (currently one box truck) including regular maintenance repairs and cleaning.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs for all equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks pickers ladders etc.).
  • Contact and coordinate with vendors contractors and service providers (e.g. landscaping plumbing electrical) via phone and email.
  • Solicit and gather bids for facility-related projects; share costs and contracts with management for approval.
  • Communicate vendor scheduling with staff to minimize disruption to daily operations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to meet all facilities-related needs and requirements.
  • Ensure all safety and emergency equipment is properly maintained and regularly tested.
  • Lead and manage facility-related projects including renovations relocations and new construction.
  • Coordinate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proven experience (typically 5 years) in facilities management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
