Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe efficient and well-maintained working environment that supports the mission and culture of Overture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
Perform minor repairs for plumbing electrical and mechanical issues as needed.
Maintain the vehicle fleet (currently one box truck) including regular maintenance repairs and cleaning.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs for all equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks pickers ladders etc.).
Contact and coordinate with vendors contractors and service providers (e.g. landscaping plumbing electrical) via phone and email.
Solicit and gather bids for facility-related projects; share costs and contracts with management for approval.
Communicate vendor scheduling with staff to minimize disruption to daily operations.
Collaborate with the management team to meet all facilities-related needs and requirements.
Ensure all safety and emergency equipment is properly maintained and regularly tested.
Lead and manage facility-related projects including renovations relocations and new construction.
Coordinate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven experience (typically 5 years) in facilities management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance practices and regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational problem-solving and project management skills.
Proficiency in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
