Job Description

NFL Media is currently looking for a Post Production Assistant to work in our Media Management and Post Production group at our West Coast Headquarters in Inglewood CA. Candidate must have 1-2 years of previous experience working in a live broadcast or post production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Media Management support for file naming and metadata tagging within our media asset management system
  • Transcribing press conferences and interviews
  • Assistant Editing duties as needed within Adobe Premiere
  • Creation of ingest placeholders for daily remote and studio feeds
  • Videotape digitization support converting physical videotapes into digital files
  • Extensive knowledge of the NFL and College football (team rosters and league activity)
  • Attention to detail with the ability to accurately spell players names
  • Demonstrated experience with current post production software such as Adobe Premiere CC Davinci Resolve and other industry standards
  • Fluency with all Microsoft Office software applications
  • Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing services such as AWS MediaSilo/Shift and
  • Possess excellent communications skills that allow for highly productive workflows between the editorial and production departments

  • Degree or certifications preferred

  • Adhere to all facility SOPs and existing workflows to execute numerous daily tasks
  • Ability to learn new technology and workflows as well as provide training and guidance to others working within the broadcast facility
  • Possess excellent communications skills that allow for highly productive workflows between the editorial and production departments
  • Ability to make decisions independently and escalate issues to upper management when necessary

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • 24/7 broadcast facility so shifts can be scheduled on weekend hours and holidays. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and be able to work off-hour shifts when needed.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes in good faith at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Salary

$25.74 - $25.74 USD

At the NFL in-person work at our offices is a top priority because it allows us to collaborate more effectively build stronger connections and maintain the culture that drives our success. This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
