Offshore Electrical Engineer:
Location: Schiedam Netherlands (Hybrid 2 days WFH)
Industry: Offshore Engineering

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Offshore Electrical Engineer to join our team in Schiedam. This office-based role (with 2 days WFH per week) focuses on power distribution and electrical systems in offshore environments. The role involves occasional offshore travel (up to twice a year)

Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain low-voltage (LV) power distribution systems for offshore equipment.
Ensure compliance with offshore regulations and industry standards.
Work with offshore electrical systems including cranes jacking systems and power distribution networks.
Support engineering teams with electrical specifications schematics and risk assessments.
Conduct site visits offshore (max. 2 times per year) to oversee system integration and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize electrical system performance.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of offshore regulations equipment and safety standards.
Experience with cranes jacking systems and power distribution.
Expertise in low-voltage (LV) power systems.
Willingness to travel offshore twice a year.
BOSET certification is a plus (training provided if not yet obtained).
