Job Description
Job Overview:
Join us as aNetwork Administratorand help us maintain and enhance our network systems and infrastructure. Youll be responsible for ensuring our network runs smoothly securely and efficiently playing a key role in our IT team.
Your Role:
- Responsible for the setup management and maintenance of the network systems and infrastructure.
- Manage network resources troubleshoot issues and implement upgrades to maintain high network performance security and reliability.
- Perform installation configuration and maintenance of network devices such as routers switches firewalls wireless access points and other network devices.
- Continuously monitor network performance to identify diagnose and resolve connectivity or security issues.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of network-related projects ensuring successful project delivery within specified timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledgebase documentation and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
- Preferred University degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role.
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Proven knowledge of networking protocols technologies and best practices.
- Experience with standard copper cabling and fiber-based technologies knowledge of routing and switching fabrics QoS topology VLAN VXLAN SDWAN and VPN.
- Experience with networking technologies such as DNS DHCP and routing protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Certification in relevant technologies.
