Job Duties:

This role ensures that youth development programs adhere to all applicable federal state and local regulations and policies. This role involves monitoring program activities conducting audits preparing reports and providing guidance to staff to maintain compliance and improve program effectiveness. This position acts as a liaison between program staff regulatory bodies and internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

This role also consults with stakeholders throughout the institution in support of addressing priorities and solves complex problems while ensuring alignment with institutional goals. This individual partners with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies analyze root causes and implement sustainable solutions and improvement methodologies.

This position is a two year project assignment and reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor & Controller.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts gap analyses and develops approaches strategies and structures for achieving desired outcomes
  • Coaches and advises leaders on building organizational capacity and navigating change management
  • Designs and delivers meetings retreats and other engagements to assist clients in aligning organizational goals and resources
  • Conducts analysis in support of projects and requests utilizing independent judgment in selecting information for developing models for consideration
  • Provides consultation advice and expertise to stakeholders to identify and solve problems. Highlighting guidance on Policy 625 and other youth protection laws and policies.
  • Oversight and institutional expert on UWS Policy 625
  • Conduct trainings provide guidance to departments and enforce system and institutional policies and procedures
  • Conducting reviews of camps and youth events to ensure compliance

The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Financial Operations department focuses on adhering to high standards of fiscal integrity and compliance. Departments within Financial Operations include Purchasing Accounts Payable Accounting Student Financial Services Compliance and the Controllers Office

Compensation:

Starting $85000 annually; salary will be based on qualifications and experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or at least 5 years of related experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management by having at least 5 years of experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.

  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse youth populations

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management by having at least 8 years of experience

  • Understanding of the University of Wisconsin System policy 625

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
