Are you a passionate driven and compassionate aspiring SLP ready to launch your career in a dynamic and supportive environment Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking aClinical Fellow SLPto join our Special Education team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities.

Exciting CF opportunity to work with a team of supportive SLPs. Work with elementary high school and transitional students (up to 21 years old) with complex communication needs and significant behavioral challenges. Many AAC/AT learning opportunities. Students earn certificates of completion as they work to develop functional life skills in this collaborative and specialized interdisciplinary setting.

What Youll Do:

As a Clinical Fellow youll work alongside experienced professionals to:

  • Deliverspeech/language oral motor and feeding/swallowing assessments and treatmentstailored to each patients unique needs.
  • Develop and implementindividualized treatment plansthat empower patients and families.
  • Collaborate ininterdisciplinary team conferencesand professional development activities.
  • Maintaincomprehensive documentationin line with MSDE ASHA COMAR and accreditation standards.
  • Participate incommunity outreachand departmental initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • Masters degree inSpeech-Language Pathology.
  • Limited Licensefrom the Maryland Board of Audiologists Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • CPR certification.
  • Bonus: Additional training inpediatric feeding/swallowing or communication disorders.
