Your Role
Responsibilities
- Inform customers of unit prices shipping details anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer after the placement of the original order.
- Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes.
- Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR; create milk-run BOLs
- Perform order double checks.
- Performs all duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies.
- Serve as a backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
- Check inventory control and notify the Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock.
- Confer with sales shipping warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
- Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions.
- Evaluate Drivers performance.
- Monitors Drivers DOT hours.
- Perform truck inspections with drivers on a weekly basis.
- Maintains ELD system corrects errors and retrieves daily reports.
- Assist the Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility.
- Manage the facility Intelex reporting system.
- Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company; communicate regularly within the department on appropriate matters; communicate with peer managers across the company.
- Related duties as assigned.
Your Profile
Education & Experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with others. Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
- Ability to making critically analyze problem solve and offer solutions.
- Available to be on-call after hours weekends and holidays.
- Perform each essential duty successfully.
