The Lead Client Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients driving revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking leadership skills and a deep understanding of the clients business objectives. The Lead Client Account Manager will provide guidance mentorship and support to the other account manager to ensure client satisfaction and success.
What youll do:
- Oversee and mentor a team of account managers providing guidance coaching and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with the clients business objectives identifying growth opportunities and addressing challenges.
- Build and nurture relationships with the flagship partners in the Greater China Region proactively identifying opportunities to grow the account and deepen the partnership.
- Ensure that our partners objectives and requirements are met by liaising between them and our internal teams (Engineering Measurement & Insights Product Marketing Creative Strategy Performance Solutions etc).
- Gain a deep understanding of our partners business goals and turn data into compelling stories and actionable insights to help them succeed.
- Become an expert at Pinterest campaign best practices especially lower funnel products and enabling yourself to be the resource for performance related opportunities.
- Understand how to drive results optimize campaigns and deliver performance updates to partners.
- Actively leading in the client meetings to understand their key objectives and challenges. Presenting and explaining complex solutions in a clear and concise manner to help partners achieve their objectives. Cross sell and upsell opportunities that contribute to the teams ability to exceed revenue targets.
- Own the conversation with key advertisers to advise on media strategies across targeting bidding models creative measurement alpha/beta testing opportunities etc.
- Provide partners with guidance and expertise on product service best practices and features. Be highly knowledgeable about all relevant Pinterest ad product features and capable of clearly explaining their benefits to a customer. Maintain up-to-date education and fluency on evolving product roadmap and iterations. Efficiently interfaces with appropriate cross-functional teams to answer product-related questions or challenges when needed.
What were looking for:
- 7 years of digital advertising sales experience managing high value relationships driving strategic learning agendas and owning client communication. Experience working with Greater China Export advertisers is highly desirable.
- Track record of compelling data-backed storytelling and recommendations.
- Strong communication skills and experience managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- A team player whos able to work in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams.
- Expertise in digital advertising and media sales including campaign optimization analytical problem solving and product/platform knowledge.
- Technical foundation with relevant experience in Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising technologies.
- Experience working with Ecommerce & Retail-based advertisers.
- Fluency in business Mandarin and English is a must.
- Comfortable with business travel for this position.
- A Bachelors degree is a must.
