Why this role

Joining our KONE Philippines team as Modernization Sales Engineer you will be part of Service Equipment Business - Modernization Team and report to the Head of Service Equipment Business Sales. The main purpose of the role is identify new KONE customers proactively targeting modernization opportunities outside the current customer base. This role sells all modernizations full replacements Advanced People Flow Solutions and other digital solutions.

What will you be doing

Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
Accountable for developing KONE position in his/her customer base or market area
Create and communicate leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling)
Ensure customer satisfaction and help to solve complaints with the rest of KONE team as needed
Identify and develop new business opportunities that supports overall growth strategy and implement business development initiatives together with the support team to achieve sales goals.
Proactively generate opportunities from outside current customer base which includes both non-KONE equipment and KONE equipment which has been lost in the past
Accountable for leads opportunities orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
Responsible to find best possible solution with the help of KONEs Customer Solution Engineering department to meet the needs of the customers
Responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools and for optimizing prices and discounts within his/her authority
Validate that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcome
Maintain full information of opportunities tasks and visits (sales funnel management)
Responsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the field
Drive execution of her/his individual sales plan

Are you the one

Bachelors degree in engineering or other relevant field
Sales and/ or customer service experience
Experience from/ familiar with solution selling methodology
Experience from/ familiar with (selling) technology solutions
Experience from / familiar with KONE customers industries is a plus (HVAC or Lift industry)
Proficient in English communication and presentation skills
Basic digital skills and mindset
