As IT Technical Project Manager you will be in the driver-seat of migrating workloads to the Public Cloud and in global datacenter footprint in the coming addition to that you will be supporting the operational teams with technical / architectural guidance on the current installed base in relation to lifecycle management innovation audits and fulfillment of new business requests.
This IT Technical Project Manager role reports to the Product Manager of the Data Centers & Multi-Domain Platforms team.
Be the main driver moving Infrastructure services on Datacenters and/or Cloud.
Manage all technical activities related to deployment/change/lifecycle projects run in Data Center operations space in an Agile manner
Analyze plan and develop requirements standards and solutions in reference to scheduled projects
Support Data Centers Product Owner on both technical and operational challenges
Ensure regional services are aligned with architectural decisions and remain fit-for-purpose
Spot potential problems early and taking pro-active action to stop them occurring and/or having a major disruptive impact
Align with IT Architecture Board on technical solutions and roadmaps
Provide insights in identifying new concepts ideas techniques best practices and technology.
Report progress to the agreed stakeholders according the agreed process and channels.
Support IT audits and certification processes
Academic and/or Bachelors degree in the area of computer science computer engineering or business informatics; or significant similar professional experience
Proven experience in managing IT projects (design/deployment/consolidation/migration)
Good knowledge of datacenter concepts and architectures and ability to translate this into practice
Understanding of data center network concepts
Ability to analyze and simplify complex landscapes with multiple technology layers
Solid knowledge of enterprise level IT infrastructure
Understanding of Azure and AWS cloud platforms and IT security concepts
Outstanding analytical and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
Comfortable balancing multiple concurrent high-impact initiatives/projects in an agile fast-paced and international environment
Excellent social skills and ability to work effectively with global stakeholders and remote colleagues via virtual collaboration technologies
Being able to communicate at technology level with suppliers and data center service providers
Have experience working with Electronic Design Automation applications and tools.
