The role
As our ICT Infrastructure Support Engineer you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our technical ICT infrastructure alongside our ICT provider. You will ensure the optimal functioning of our modern workplace with Office 365 and Intune as well as our network LAN and WAN (Cisco Meraki). Following design rules best practices and standard procedures with a high focus on ICT security you will provide hands-on support to our business and partners for their connection requests to or over the EPS-provided ICT infrastructure. Hands-on support to our users in our Head Office and to our users throughout Europe to make sure the ICT environment in our Depot location is also up to date.
You will collaborate with ICT partners to maintain on-premises and cloud (Azure) infrastructures. You will install configure and maintain workstations laptops and servers and assist with LAN and WAN changes. You will plan maintenance activities conduct health checks and oversee contractor and vendor service quality. When incidents occur you will analyse and troubleshoot issues with partners ensuring accurate information for local partners. You will execute test plans for system upgrades or releases and consult with clients to recommend technology hardware software and installation plans.

Your role will also involve participating in infrastructure projects working with outsourcing partners to define and execute projects. You will support cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of major installations upgrades and process changes reporting progress to the project lead. You will verify the technical delivery of projects and accept the infrastructure part of the project deliverables.
