We are seeking an experienced CSSC Application Engineer to join our CSSC Backoffice Water Utility team. This position reports directly to the CSSC Supervisor.
This position is based in our Valle office in Monterrey N.L. Mexico. However we also have an office in Mexico City where you may choose to be located. To be considered candidates must be authorized to work in Mexico
What is the job about
This position will contribute to a thriving CSSC Back Office team by providing timely and effective technical advice to the incoming inquiries.
The Application Engineer will deliver World Class Customer Experience by providing technically advanced support and applying established procedures and guidelines. The team always contribute to maintain and improve the organizations Customer relationship.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to Customers regarding the product sizing applications system solutions accessories installations prices etc. assuring the functionality of the solution in practice.
- Follow up on Customer interactions within set SLA.
- Process special orders and inquiries in coordination with the suppliers.
- Support sales teams by handling tenders and projects include providing dimension specifications calculations time of delivery operation and maintenance issues etc.
- Identify business opportunities and handover to external sales
- Ensure customer master data is updated on portfolio of customers under their responsibility.
- Communicate collaborate and provide support with the respective product segment or other suppliers where local problem solving is not available.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Electronics preferred) or other technical discipline or equivalent in a technical role within the pump industry or equivalent field (2 - 3 years of experience)
- Must display a high mechanical and electrical ability.
- Ability to support multiple customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Displays the ability to organize and maintain various files and logs.
- Demonstrates the ability to own customer requests and follow them to completion.
- Capable of communicating to a technical or non-technical audience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High customer / client Focus
- Proficient in Application Engineering capable of assessing technical specifications and developing comprehensive bid proposals for pumps and controls.
- Ability to train Engineers and customers on pumping technology and products
- Effective experience with controls and control systems is valued.
- Excellent written and spoken English
