Caterpillar Hungary is seeking a new Financial Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting the companys daily operations by gathering organizing and interpreting necessary information to provide comprehensive reports.

What You Will Do:

• Preparing monthly quarterly and annual reports and analyses for local management (e.g.: actual vs plan analysis inventory control cost control)
• Actively participating in monthly closing tasks and optimizing the processes of the finance and accounting department (primarily using Excel and Power BI).
• Playing a key role in compiling and monitoring annual and quarterly plans.
• Assisting project managers in managing the companys fixed assets and investments.
• Actively participating in product cost calculation and analysis

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a degree in finance accounting or economics/economic informatics.
• Have no difficulty interpreting accounting relations.
• Value accuracy and precision in their work and approach new tasks proactively.
• Have practical experience in data analysis and visual presentation of results.
• Successfully apply appropriate communication strategies when cooperating with internal and external decision-makers in both English and Hungarian.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical knowledge of Power BI.
• Flexible approach to new tasks.
