Job Description

Sheringham Nursery School and Childrens Centre leads A Brighter Start: Londons Stronger Practice Hub part of a national network funded by the Department for Education and supported by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and National Childrens Bureau (NCB). The Stronger Practice Hub programme aims to improve quality in early years so that every child has the best possible start in life.

We are seeking an organised proactive and flexible Administrator to provide essential administrative and financial support to our Stronger Practice Hub (SPH) team. You will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Hub supporting educators across London to access training evidence-informed programmes and professional development opportunities.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for early years educators settings and schools.
  • Manage communications across email phone WhatsApp and social media.
  • Maintain calendars systems and databases to track engagement and delivery.
  • Support event and training organisation including bookings and participant communication.
  • Manage and update our social media channels daily with engaging professional content.
  • Process orders payments and invoices and maintain accurate financial records.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and able to use initiative.
  • Has excellent written and spoken English and good maths skills.
  • Is confident using Google Drive Mailchimp Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and social media platforms.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Can build positive relationships with colleagues educators and stakeholders.
  • (Desirable) Has experience in the early years sector.
