The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette IN currently has openings for Outdoor Distribution this role you will be responsible for material availability for Assembly consumption. The primary focus for the Outdoor Distribution Technician will be moving material to the assembly line via stand-up or sit-down fork truck.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Moving material to the assembly line via stand-up fork truck
• Helping Stores Controller maintain inventory accuracy on production parts
• Making sure material is delivered to point of use in FIFO order.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of stand-up fork truck experience.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.
• Basic computer skills.

Top Candidates will also:

• Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
• Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat.
• Stand on concrete for 8 hours.

Additional Information:

• Location of this position is in Lafayette IN
• Position available is on 2nd shift (2:30pm 10:30pm)
• Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected applicant.
• 18 days/144 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO) - (Prorated based upon start date)
• 11 Paid holidays
• 40-hour work weeks with potential for Overtime
