THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to perform duties as an IT Business Analyst for a national project.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Collect analyze and prioritize business requirements anticipating problems and evaluating impacts.
- Conduct workshops with relevant stakeholders sponsors and/or teams to define the solution.
- Analyze business requirements with a critical mindset and challenge them when needed.
- Identify and specify the solution with squad and tribe architects.
- Effectively breakdown business needs into requirements contained within a product backlog which can then be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.
- Clearly communicate those business needs to the development team by writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Test user stories during development phase and contribute to increase test automation coverage.
- Participate in the organization of user acceptance tests with the end users.
- Write and update documentation with content adapted to target audience (Development Product and Support teams) and deliver training sessions.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a business analyst working in a context of agile software development
- Experience in translating business requirements into user stories use cases and technical requirements.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle including planning development requirements management CM quality assurance and release management.
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science Engineering Information Management Systems or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in estimating techniques.
- Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organizations business areas.
- Fluency in English.
