Job Description
Applications are invited for appointment asfull-time/fractional Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in the Department of Psychology(Ref.: 532764) to commence on November 1 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter on a two-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent and at least 8 years of relevant post-qualification professional experience. Familiarity with local clinical psychology settings experience in clinical teaching/supervision and fluency in Cantonese will be an advantage. The appointee is expected to teach and supervise postgraduate students as well as contribute significantly to the administration of the postgraduate programmes in Clinical Psychology. Applicants with only a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent and/or has less experience may be considered for the Lecturer post. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic benefits will be provided as applicable for Senior Lecturer.
