Discover Impactful Work:
Provides administrative safety support to the Pharmacovigilance (PV) department. This includes other general administration tasks such as filing photocopying typing and performing reconciliation tasks. Involved in projects relating to PV safety. May mentor or train new PV safety administration staff.

A day in the Life:
Provides administrative safety support to the safety reporting team and
Pharmacovigilance department.
Responsible for tasks related to receipt and submission of expedited and periodicsafety reports including quality check tasks pertaining to the departmentsprojects.
Assists with allocation of work tasks to safety reporting team members as well asoversight for completion of work tasks by others.
Provides assistance with planning and coordination of large and complex projectsrelating to safety reporting. With input and supervision from superiors leadscomplex projects including project oversight and collation maintenance anddelivery of metrics.
Recommends and performs updates to procedures regulatory intelligence
activities and other initiatives related to safety reporting.
Provides training guidance and support to safety reporting team members

Keys to Success:

Education
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationTechnical positions may require a certificate
Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to atleast 4 years).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word Excel PowerPoint Access) and solid knowledge of procedural documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including telephone conversations as well as face to face interactions with all levels of the organisation
Excellent organisation and time management skills including those of paperwork and files with shown ability to handle multiple tasks at once and deal effectively with stress
Strong attention to detail and accurate with orientation towards careful and meticulous work
Strong problem-solving skills
