Job Description

PositionQualifications

Experiencein leading a multi-disciplinary team in the analysis and synthesis of complexdata including financial and operational data and metrics

Abilityto translate data into information and strategies into executable action plansincluding developing metrics and tracking status and deliverables

Positivetrack record of leadership to drive disparate groups to overcome challengingobstacles

Effectivecommunicator adept at cross-cultural understanding and deeply experienced in theJapan environment

Minimumof 5 years of progressive business experience

Consultingexperience MBA or other advanced degree desirable

Fluentin English native/fluent in Japanese

Located in Tokyo Japan

Position Summary

As a core member of the Janssen Japan RealizationOffice (JRO) serves as a key partner to the Head of the JRO in support ofimplementation of Company-wide business-critical initiatives and supportscross-functional projects intended to deliver growth for the organization.

Major Responsibilities

Governance and Effective Communications

Supports JRO Head in facilitation and management ofMC including supporting presenters/teams in preparation for their discussionswith MC and following up on action items

Supports data gathering and content development for MCpresentations to Regional and Global leadership

Collaborates with Communications and Public Affairs toprepare monthly HAYABUSA Way management messages highlighting key successeschallenges and forward-looking opportunities for Janssen Japan

Company-wide G&Os

Supportsthe annual G&O-setting workshop and action item follow-ups to deliver thefollowing years G&Os in time for the Company Kick-Off Meeting (KOM)

Gathersinput from key stakeholders on core KPIs to measure progress against theCompany G&Os

Tracks Company G&O KPIs including supporting KPI ownersto update their progress and analyzing monthly input to deliver key takeawaysto Strategy MC (SMC)

Annual Business Planning

Manages the Integrated Strategy Discussion (ISD: LRFP plus total portfolio prioritization) andannual Business Plan (BP) with a team of cross-functional colleaguesparticularly Finance the Business Units Medical Affairs New ProductPlanning R&D and Commercial Excellence

Company Initiatives

  • Supports JanssenJapan initiatives determined to be business-critical and that arecross-functional in nature such as the roll-out of Design Thinking throughoutthe organization adoption of Real World Evidence (RWE) and Patient Accessstrategies and Leadership Training for the cross-functional Japan CompoundTeams (JCoTs) and Japan Therapeutic Area Strategy Teams (JTASTes)
