JOB TITLE:
Assistant Professor
JOB PURPOSE:
The Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology invites applications for one (1) tenure track position in Criminal Justice starting Fall Semester 2026. This position will be hired at the Assistant Professor rank.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to teach key courses of need in the curriculum with a particular interest in candidates who specialize in policing and other systems-related courses such as corrections comparative criminal justice terrorism and ethics. The University of Wyomings teaching load is 5 courses per academic year with course reductions specialization is open but we are eager to find candidates whose interests complement existing areas of research expertise as well as those who address issues of relevance to the state and region.
