We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily accounting operations ensuring accurate financial reporting and fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable journal entries reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including senior management to provide regular updates on financial performance and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors and tax authorities to facilitate smooth audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountants or ACCA qualified
Must-Have:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in English communication to engage with the US team and customers.
- Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work during US business hours
