Krero m te tranga - About the role

TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Programme Coordinator to support He Kokonga Whare a Kitea a strategic programme of work that aims to accelerate student success. He Kokonga Whare a Kitea project is a partnership with the University of Canterbury and is being funded by the TEC. The He Kokonga Whare a Kitea programme integrates this project with other initiatives that are focused on enhancing overall student experience increasing qualification retention and developing organisational data capability to support student success within learning and teaching. The Programme Coordinator will work across this programme of work to support an integrated approach.

This is a fixed-term full-time or secondment role through to 18 December 2026.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality programme coordination across multiple workstreams and projects within the He Kokonga Whare e Kitea programme.
  • Support financial tracking reporting and documentation.
  • Assist with programme evaluation reporting and communications.
  • Coordinate governance and team meetings and liaise with internal external stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in coordination and administration.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
  • Financial tracking and reporting experience.
