Completion of undergraduate core coursework in public finance public administration or business administration; 36 mos. fiscal management & control involving use of statistical/quantitative analysis (e.g. probability statistics linear regression multiple variable regression computer assisted regression analysis models trend analysis forecasting cost benefits analysis) to formulate project adjust & monitor allocations.
-Or completion of graduate core coursework in public finance public administration or business administration; 24 mos. fiscal management & control involving use of statistical/quantitative analysis (e.g. probability statistics linear regression multiple variable regression computer assisted regression analysis models trend analysis forecasting cost benefits analysis) to formulate project adjust & monitor allocations.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Senior Budget Analyst 63262.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Classification: Budget Analyst Supervisor PN
As the Cost Allocation Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Managing the Cost Allocation Plan and maintaining and updating the chart of accounts and coding for the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM)
- Overseeing and managing the distribution of the Ohio Department of Medicaids administrative costs to State and Federal programs through accounting and cost allocation methodologies
- Review cost pool distributions ensuring methodologies are used and calculations are accurate
- Monitoring and analyzingcost distribution datato determine cost pool funding for use in operating budget
- Supervising the preparation and submission of the CMS64/21 reports for administrative claiming
- Performing standard supervisory activities (establish unit goals assign work provide direction monitor and evaluate performance recommend discipline recommend applicants to hire approve/deny leave requests conduct staff meetings etc.).

Compensation is as listed on the posting unless required by legislation or union contract.
The work location of this position is 50 West Town Street Columbus Ohio 43215. You will be required to report to this work location full-time if selected.
Travel required as needed. Must provide own transportation. Or in order to operate a state vehicle you must have a valid drivers license from state of residence.
