Job Title: After Market Demand Planner

Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group

Location: Chattanooga TN

Reports to: Director Advanced Planning Supply Management & Transportation

Department: Supply Management and Transportation

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will support the Supply Chain teams demand planning and forecasting activities. Primarily focusing on the development and management of Aftermarket (AM) demand forecasts including analysis of historical sales market trends promotional impacts and customer ordering patterns. Responsibilities include collaboration with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with business objectives support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and drive improvements in forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data market trends and input from Sales Marketing and Finance
  • Analyze forecast performance and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with business strategies and promotional activities.
  • Support the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with data-driven insights and scenario modeling.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to ensure optimal product availability and minimize excess stock.
  • Identify demand risks and opportunities and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance demand planning tools reports and dashboards for visibility and decision-making.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline forecasting processes and enhance planning agility.
  • Ensure data integrity across demand planning systems and support master data maintenance as needed.
  • Provide analytical support for new product introductions lifecycle planning and supply chain initiatives.
  • Must be able to travel between Chattanooga TN and Fort Payne AL if needed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning forecasting or supply chain analytics preferred.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g. SAP IBP Oracle Demantra Kinaxis or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Aftermarket (AM) or automotive industry preferred
  • APICS CPIM or other supply chain certifications are a plus.

Applies a sense of urgency to resolve problems or creates opportunities that will increase productivity and create value. Shares best practices with other employees across the business.
