What Youll Do:

AS a parts advisor at Executive Volkswagen you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service and repair departments. Their primary responsibility is to manage the inventory and supply of automotive parts acting as the link between the dealerships service technicians customers and parts suppliers.

  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles.
  • Use catalogs and software systems to find part numbers and availability.
  • Monitor stock levels receive shipments and organize parts in the storage area.
  • Place orders for parts not in stock and follow up on delivery timelines.
  • Provide service technicians with the correct parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance..
  • Handle returns exchanges and warranty claims for defective or incorrect parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts transactions inventory and customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers service advisors and other dealership departments.

Keys To Success:

  • Previous parts advisor experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of basic automotive components and systems
  • Automotive dealership service experience (a plus)
  • Any automotive certifications (a plus)
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid drivers license in your state of residence
