Our Hastings office is seeking an empathetic experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity giving you with the tools you need to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of the Habit Health way.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
  • Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
  • Deliver counselling services via in-person video and telehealth
  • Deliver training to customer employees

Provision of enhanced AI tools aimed at boosting your performance:

Heidi is an AI medical scribe that automates clinical documentation and decreases administrative work. This enables you to focus on clinical care and turn you will be better equipped to make best use of our uncapped incentive programme that enables clinicians to earn an extra performance bonus every single month!

The ideal candidate:

  • A strong sense of others were looking for sensitivity and empathy as traits
  • Current APC with NZAC DAPAANZ SWRB or NZCCA
  • Tertiary level 7 Counselling or related qualificationanda minimum of five years of post-study experience in general counselling is required.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT CBT FACT is desirable
  • Can work independently and attend on-sites for psychological first aid.
  • Experience in trauma intervention psychological first-aid
