Job Description

Hatch is seeking an energetic Sales Rainmaker to join our team!

This full-time position will report directly to our CEO and will be responsible for driving growth and promotion of Hatch-provided service offerings. You will be at the front lines of the sales process representing the Hatch brand and that is why we need someone who understand and is passionate about the Hatch experience.

You will be pivotal to creating a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and building positive working relationships.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship leadership skills; sound judgment; and is process driven.

Some of the responsibilities in the role include:

Being driven to achieve results:

  • Manage and lead generation and prospecting sales (including via social media networking events etc.)
  • Generate and deliver on set sales targets

Being an outgoing personality:

  • Greet people who come in for tours track walk-ins schedule tours and send confirmation emails.
  • Manage Hatch Members check-ins and check-outs.
  • Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members including member introductions event support email and print communications.
  • Be active on the Hatch member network.
  • Solve member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community.

Looking after our community:

  • Suggest events and campaigns to be run at Hatch to promote the brand
  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs; prepare and distribute member welcome packets.
  • Mail and Package responsibilities as needed.
  • Identify issues for escalation to our Head of Operations in order to document accordingly.
  • Assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure the highest level of member experience including fielding and assigning requests submitted through email.

Knowledge & learnings:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a Marketing or Sales role (either full time or internship capacity) for a dynamic organization
  • CRM experience preferably with Zoho or Hubspot
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Tourism or relevant field (completed or to be completed)
  • Ability to develop and deliver pitch decks that people will talk about!
  • Excellent writing communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams
  • Knowledge of the local startup ecosystem (not a must but would be a plus)
  • Passion for networking a desire to stay current in the business development space.
