Registration Senior Manager

Position Summary

This position is to work as part of global agribusiness company that supports the food and agriculture of tomorrows Japan and contributes to a stable supply of food. We maintain a highly unique and rich product pipeline through industry-leading science and technology worldwide.

The Registration Senior Manager for FMC Japan is accountable for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and tactical plans to grow and defend assigned products within the Japan product this capacity the Registration Senior Manager will collaborate closely with the Product Development Marketing Global/Regional Regulatory and Integrated Supply Chain to drive for business results and ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires regulatory competency strong project management skills and the ability to make influence for positive outcomes.

Location: Tokyo Japan

The Role

  • Drive the development and execution of regulatory strategies and tactical plans for registration of products in Japan.

  • Lead the preparation submission and grant of product registrations.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of products in Japan.

  • Represent FMC on industry committees and work groups focused on influencing regulatory policies and procedures important to their assigned products as well as Japan product portfolio.

  • Maintain awareness of key regulatory issues and recommend actions in advance of competitive pressure.

  • Comply with the principles of Responsible Care and promote Product Stewardship.

  • Work in a safe manner and support a safe working environment.

The Candidate

  • BS. Major in Chemistry Biology Agriculture and Life Sciences are preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the agriculture industry or similar sectors.

  • Experience of regulatory assignments for min 3 years or more.

  • Familiar with the latest regulations and test guidelines.

  • Logical communication (written and verbal) based on science and data.

  • Language: Japanese (native or equivalent) English (written must / verbal plus).

  • Attention to details.

  • Strong commitment and ability to get things done turning goals and plans into tangible results.

  • Proficient in PC skills and software applications relating to daily work.
