Role Overview

NTU Honours College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director Social Impact to lead two of its flagship programmes: the Tech-for-Good Service-Learning Course and the Social Impact Fundraising Project. These initiatives form the cornerstone of the Colleges commitment to nurturing socially conscious community-engaged leaders.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in higher education or programme management with demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement fundraising and communications. This leadership role requires the ability to drive both strategy and execution working across academic units external partners and student communities to deliver impactful innovative and scalable initiatives.

We are seeking a senior professional with a strong strategic mindset and a passion for developing future-ready graduates through socially impactful education. This leadership role is responsible for shaping and scaling flagship programmes such as the Tech-for-Good course and the Community Fundraising Project. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in higher education or mission-driven organisations with a proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder initiatives inspire teams and drive sustainable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Programme Development
    Lead the strategic direction design and delivery of experiential programmes that blend technology innovation and community engagement. Drive alignment with institutional goals national education priorities and industry trends.

  • Team & Operational Oversight
    Foster a culture of excellence creativity and collaboration. Oversee programme execution governance and operational effectiveness to deliver high-quality student and stakeholder experiences.

  • Stakeholder and Partnership Management
    Deepen and expand strategic partnerships with corporates NGOs alumni donors and government agencies to co-create opportunities for student learning fundraising and scale-up innovation. Manage and grow a portfolio of 20 active partners.

  • Financial Stewardship
    Oversee annual programme budgets ranging from S$150000 to S$250000 ensuring judicious use of resources and long-term sustainability. Identify new funding streams and contribute to donor stewardship strategies.

  • Engagement & Communication Strategy
    Lead outreach and engagement strategies that connect with 500800 students annually. Collaborate with marcomms and digital teams to craft compelling narratives that showcase student impact and institutional commitment to social innovation.

  • Impact Evaluation & Reporting
    Establish and oversee robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess programme outcomes. Drive data-informed decision making prepare impact reports and manage disbursement of scale-up grants to student-led initiatives.

  • Event Leadership
    Provide executive oversight for flagship events such as the annual Impact Showcase pitching competitions and fundraising campaignsensuring strategic visibility and alignment with university priorities.

Requirements & Profile

  • A Bachelors degree or a Masters degree in Education Public Policy Nonprofit Management Innovation or related fields is preferred.

  • At least 12 years of progressive experience in programme management higher education leadership social innovation or talent development.

  • Demonstrated success in leading high-impact cross-functional initiatives at scale.

  • Excellent strategic planning and project execution skills with experience managing complex stakeholder environments.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams and to influence outcomes through partnerships and donor engagement.

  • Sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across academic corporate and social sectors.

  • Deep commitment to student development social impact and innovation in education.
