Are you a highly organized service-oriented professional with a passion for supporting students and alumni Georgia State University College of Law is seeking to hire a dynamic part-time Associate Director for Career Development (Temporary Remote) to join its Career Development office a student-centered forward-thinking team dedicated to empowering the next generation of legal professionals.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position will serve on various student success campus event and faculty senate committees to represent the office and division connect individuals and resources provide information and advocacy and communicate to/for staff and students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Represent GSU positively through involvement in professional organizations with state and national colleagues and with community partners.
Responsible for supervision training development and support of MC staff at PC and Atlanta campuses.
Provide administrative oversight for all aspects of the MC including daily operations general office coverage record maintenance and tracking systems and effectiveness and relevance of programmatic efforts.
Use data and analytics to develop programs and strategic interventions to increase retention progression and graduation rates for diverse populations of students.
Collect and use data to evaluate success metrics of students who engage with the MC.
Provide consistent review and assessment of MC events and program for quality and connection with university and divisional strategic goals.
Serve as spokesperson leading advocate and content expert for diversity and cultural competency on campus.
Continuously seek to create improve and expand the development of a campus culture that recognizes the value and advantage of appreciation for diversity offers for all students academically personally and professionally.
Provide innovative programming that encourages the various student populations to engage inclusively at GSU.
Collaborate with other cultural offices including Black Student Achievement LASSO and ISAC to build community and engagement and increase retention progression and graduation for GSU students.
Lead the design and implementation of a variety of training programs including cultural competency trainings for faculty and administrative support regarding appropriate support of student needs and concerns and other related trainings requested.
Connects programs and services with the College to Career QEP helping ensure students understand the value of diversity and cross-cultural skills in the workplace.
Ensure consistent support and service through the MC for all culturalclubs/organizations at GSU even those that are not advised directly from the MC.
Serve as a resource for faculty and develop resources to help address diversity multiculturalism and cultural competence in other educational contexts.
Bachelors degree and four years of supervisory/management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
