Job Description
Stefanini is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Transition Manager to oversee the service design and transition process within our project management methodology. The successful candidate will facilitate the transition of service changes stemming from a program of projects ensuring a seamless transition from project teams to business-as-usual support services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of ITIL service management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the transition of service changes from project teams to service management ensuring that all aspects of change are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate operational level acceptance transition planning and support requirements definition.
- Oversee configuration and change management processes ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Evaluate performance and risks associated with service changes providing recommendations for mitigation.
- Manage test management release planning deployment and early life support activities to ensure successful service transitions.
- Conduct release reviews and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define service levels and ensure that expectations are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement processes that enhance the service transition framework and improve efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing their own work and that of others including the ability to plan prioritize and organize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of working independently and showing persistence while fostering good working relationships across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate effectively to users at all levels and a careful attention to detail.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the need for standards in IT and a willingness to achieve further formal ITIL qualifications as required.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs and willingness to travel to Stefanini and customer sites for new project launches or meetings.
- Readiness to travel as required.
- Strong knowledge of PC Microsoft Office Microsoft Windows Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
