Amazon Marketplace and Global Selling have been key engines of Amazons growth over the past several years. We are seeking an intellectually curious self-driven innovative and highly motivated professional to lead Seller business growth in Japan.
The primary responsibility of this role is to define and execute growth strategy for Seller business in Japan with a focus on driving GMS growth expanding selection optimizing pricing and enhancing delivery speed. The role also entails establishing robust tracking mechanisms leading XBR reviews and analyzing market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
This individual will also work closely with sourcing country teams to:
Drive Seller adoption through targeted outreach;
Derive insights from Seller experiences to inform strategic direction;
Accelerate Seller growth and post-launch success by expanding selection improving feature adoption and increasing conversion rates;
Broaden selection eligibility by educating Sellers on selection compliance requirements.
- 5 years of experience in sales business development or account management
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and influence others.
- Self-starter with high ownership
- Business-level fluency in Japanese or Chinese is preferred
- MBA
