Position: Associate Solicitor

Our construction team are a dominant force in the Irish market offering extensive local and international experience in complex construction and engineering projects.


The Role

The Mason Hayes & Curran contentious construction team has extensive experience of handing construction disputes. Paying particular attention to the early identification of problems and the provision of advice throughout the course of the project we ensure that clients have advice that can be acted on in real-time. Critical and prompt analysis of construction claims is essential. We specialise in assisting clients to undertake proper examination of difficult prolongation and additional cost / damages issues in both advancing and defending claims. We consider ourselves the best at what we do and we are eager to foster a new generation of practitioners toward excellence in this rewarding career. This role offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to train in disputes advocacy in various formats including dispute boards arbitration and Court with potential to engage in the innovative energy markets dispute work also conducted by our contentious construction team.


Candidate Requirements

  • 1 years PQE from a reputable firm with a focus on contentious construction.

  • Strong focus on client services and the ability to manage multiple clients.

  • Pro-active working collaboratively within a team environment.
