Job Summary:
This position is responsible for responding to customers needs in apositive caring and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must alsoprovide prompt accurate and efficient processing of all parts transactions and relatedwarehouse activities. This requires working independently with a specific direction or as amember of a team. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday day shift 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Essential Functions:
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complieswith all company policies procedures and standards
- Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
- Maintains all company equipment warehouse environment tools and work areasin a good clean and working order
- Completes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customersin an accurate timely and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Completes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate timely and supportivemanner to ensure proper inventory status in the parts warehouse. To be monitored bymanagement observation and stock order analysis reports as well as daily and
year-end physical inventories. - Maintains parts operations office warehouse and outside yards so that they areneat and orderly as assessed by the department manager
- Develops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined byperformance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRAs
- Completes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return communicates job status tosupervisor as needed
- Learns how to place 3 party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders throughthe CODA system
- Works overtime as required by workload
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position DesignationGuidelines to include; order pulling job-related software forklift operation hydraulic hosebuilding ladder JSA battery JSA prime mover JSA will counter operations and all applicablepolicies and procedures
- General knowledge of equipment and tools including their designs uses repair andmaintenance
- Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
- Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do ajob
- Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate hand tools power tools pneumatic tools and equipment used in mechanicalrepair including an overhead crane
- Ability to operate a conventional forklift
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exactpositions
- Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read write and understand information
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words andsentences
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Up to two years of experience
